On February 17, 2009, we announced Members United’s upcoming Town Hall Meeting schedule. At the meetings, we plan to discuss Members United’s Strategic Direction, share our thoughts on the Advanced Notice of Public Rulemaking and Request for Comment (ANPR) regarding Corporate Credit Unions, and hear your feedback about both.
In preparation for these meetings, the Board of Directors, Committee members, and staff have developed related materials. To minimize the cost of distributing these lengthy materials, we have posted a draft version of the Strategic Direction and the Response to NCUA Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking online. I invite you to visit Members United’s online Financial Transparency Center, where you can also find these documents. Final versions of the ANPR comment and Strategic Direction are pending input from members.
