SUMMARY
The Financial Products Manager partners with financial product owners to design, develop and deliver financial products solutions with a focus on strategic and tactical product management (fee-based financial products and balance sheet products).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide general business management guidance for financial products of Balance Sheet Solutions LLC and other related subsidiary companies. Drives revenue growth and profitability of financial products consistent with strategic goals.
Liaison with key areas of Organization to ensure consistency in organizational objectives, execution and measurement.
Research market trends for competitive and related products
- Pricing Comparisons
- Feature and benefit comparison, research and analysis
- Developing market/industry trends
- Conduct research as to member customer preferences/needs
- Surveys
- Focus groups
- Other forms of market/member research
Develop, design, recommend and lead/direct implementation of changes to account structure, pricing and features.
Develop, design, recommend and lead/direct implementation of changes to fee based products.
Coordinate financial product development efforts.
Work with appropriate parties to develop pricing points, product positioning and profitability measurements and targets for products.
Review, analyze, and recommend operational changes to secure efficiencies / opportunities.
Provide guidance and process knowledge consistent with organizational framework for financial product planning.
Develop performance reporting – Responsible for organizational reporting.
Act as a liaison with marketing for the development and review of marketing plans including;
- Target markets by product
- Target markets by competitive market.
- Distribution channels
- Process to establish and review performance versus established targets by member and market segment
- Coordinate sales/management communication
- Brand development and promotion
- Advertising
Participate in overall product pricing strategies (product bundling, packaging) and member pricing strategies
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Fifth Year College or University program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
